Dog Yoga has been becoming increasingly more popular over the past few years. From New York City to Scottsdale, AZ to Hollywood, CA, Dog Yoga has made its "bark" on all of these cities. Formal and informal classes have been organized to pass on the art of Yoga to not only dog lovers but also the dogs who are loved.

As Dog Yoga instructional courses have increased in popularity, the desire for an instructional Dog Yoga DVD became apparent. Prior to the creation of Amy Stevens' Yoga4Dogs, the first and only instructional Dog Yoga DVD, fans of Dog Yoga had to rely solely on classes. Attending a class was often difficult as you are forced to cater your schedule around someone else's. Additionally, courses are often taught by under qualified instructors. But with the release of Amy Stevens' Yoga4Dogs, enthusiasts can enjoy the work out on their own schedule!

Dog Yoga enthusiasts had a problem; they were denied the freedom of doing the workout routines in the comfort of their own homeon their home court and their dog's. While there are many traditional Yoga DVDs available for at home instruction, before Amy Stevens' released Yoga4Dogs, there was not a Dog Yoga instructional DVD. This was an exciting way for users to really bond with their dogs and get some exercise all in the comfort of their living room!

It's no surprise that so many people find Dog Yoga appealing! People love dogs, especially their own dog! Dog Yoga provides a unique way to strengthen the connection between you and your dog. Dog Yoga is special because you are not simply performing the poses alone with your dog watching, nor are simply helping your dog into the different positions. Both you and your dog work together to gain increased harmony with one another while getting some exercise too.
