By Steve Esquire

We will analyze and present the main features, functions and warranty coverage. Let us review the Sanyo HEC DR7700K zero gravity massage recliner.

As with any electronic device, warranty coverage is always an important part of the purchase. You are putting out your hard earned money know for a product that is designed to last you a long time. The warranty coverage is your protection that the product is made as designed and will be there over the time frame in which you purchased it for.

So what is the warranty coverage offered by Sanyo for their top of the line DR7700K massage chair? The DR-7700 comes with three years coverage for the roller mechanism. The roller mechanism is what provides the massage located in the chair back. There is one year coverage for parts and one year coverage for labor. You also get one year technician service for your home.

The DR-7700K is a zero gravity massage chair. Technically, zero gravity means that when you recline the chair your knees are above your heart. This position takes the pressure off of your spine and distributes it across your back. The Zero gravity position was originally developed by NASA as the safest position for astronauts when they are being propelled in a rocket out of Earth's gravity.

One of the electronic features used to tailor the massage to your body is the physical shape sensor. The physical shape sensor takes a reading to know where your body is located in the chair. If you move, then the shape sensor takes a new reading. It then adjusts the massage based on your new position.

One of the electronic marvels contained in the DR 7700 is the Stiffness detector. The stiffness detector is a derivative of lie detector technology. It reads your pulse rate and your perspiration level. It senses changes in these two parameters and then correlates where tension and stiffness may reside in your body. The massage is then tailored to relieve these areas.

The DR7700K comes with 4 one-touch automatic massage programs. These programs include stiffness, relax, recovery and fine. Each program is designed to target a specific set of benefits. You can also select from 4 manual massage techniques.

Sanyo has built the foot wells with the capability to apply heat to the feet. The DR7700 comes with these feet heaters to warm up the bottom of your feet. This helps to reduce swelling and increase blood flow during the foot massage.

The Grip massage which is a manual massage method in the DR 7700 massage chair performs a relieving shoulder massage. Sanyo has incorporated its GK roller system which can extend over the top of your shoulders. It provides a gripping action which helps to reduce stiffness or tightness in the shoulder area.

Sanyo has a full line of massage chairs and the DR7700 is the top of the line. It has a great array of features including some interesting electronic ones. Namely, the stiffness detector and the physical shape sensor are complimentary to the massage therapy. You also get a battery of massage treatments to help melt away your aches and pains. The HEC-DR7700K massage chair by Sanyo is certainly one of the top contenders for your attention in the high end of the market.
