Where To Vacation in June

By Robert M Freeman

Organizing a summer vacation depends on two factors: firstly, the budget for the holiday, and secondly what kind of a holiday is wanted. For many Britons, the first alternative for a holiday is a trip to Europe, followed by the option of vacation destinations within Europe. Paris becomes an automatic alternative for people who have never been to this city. Paris has history, art, and a lot of night life to offer to a tourist.

If fascinating art and history is what is wanted on a holiday, then the next stop after Paris would be Rome. The architecture and well-known fountains of Rome, together with a trip to the Vatican City, can be very memorable. For additional historical experiences, Florence with its history would be your next stop.

Moving on from Florence, a visit to Venice and then on to Athens in Greece to admire the remains of early Greek architecture would be an exciting experience. There are many other exciting and historical places that can be visited on a history and arts vacation tour in Europe.

For people searching for sun, beaches, and a soothing holiday, the coast of Spain is a perfect vacation destination this year. The Costa del Sol is a famous vacation destination where the temperate and mild Mediterranean Sea makes it a perfect spot for people who want to relax, bathe in the sun, and unwind. If a trip to a tropical spot is wanted then a vacation in the Caribbean islands is what should be organized. The chain of Caribbean islands, interconnected by water taxis and private flights, is the place for peaceful sun soaked enjoyable vacations. A holiday in the Caribbean islands is a exceptional experience.

Going through the Greek islands, with the white washed houses and gracious people, is also a lovely way of spending summer break. Greece and Turkey can also be visited from the Greek islands, and both these counties are filled with historic artifacts and monuments.

For Britons who have not crossed 'the pond', a break in the US can be not only exciting, but also teach you a lot. Even a tour of just to New York would illustrate what a wonderful country with plenty of variety it is. Obviously, a trip along the east coast all the way down to Florida can be very stimulating, as the opportunity of seeing Washington would be there.

India would not be a great alternative as a country to visit on a vacation during summer as the heat would be extreme, and additionally there is no way of avoiding it. If one wants to discover or see a different continent, then a trip to Cairo to see the pyramids and the museums that encase the history of the great pharaohs would be a good idea. South Africa and Kenya are two countries to go to if nature and wild life is to be enjoyed at it's greatest. The safaris that run in both these countries are truthfully unforgettable experiences.

During summer, a vacation in Australia or New Zealand would be fun for those who like the heat.
