What's the Leather Motorcycle Jacket Style for You?

By Frank Medley

There are two aspects to any jacket purchase. A rider of course wants a jacket that will keep them safe while they're riding. However, leather motorcycle jacket style is also an aspect to notice.

When you're buying your jacket, the first decision to make is that length you'd like. There are two to choose from. The half waist style is the more traditional, while the three quarter length gives more coverage.

A waist length style is the more classic of the two. This is what you remember James Dean wearing in his classic movies. It offers less coverage of the two, but is definitely more stylish.

If you buy this leather motorcycle jacket style, make sure to keep your eye on length. The back of your jacket should have some extra material, so that your back is covered if you're leaning forward.

If you're an older rider who have developed a little bit of a beer belly, the three quarter length style will be better for you. This leather motorcycle jacket style offers longer and better protection.

If you do go on longer or multiple day rides, you might want to get a three quarter length jacket as well. The extra coverage will give you more comfort as you ride, and give you more storage room.

If you're a rider who likes to stand out, there are leather motorcycle jacket styles in a variety of colors. This will allow you to match your bike, stand out in the crowd, or simply be more noticeable to other motorists.

When you're finding the right leather motorcycle jacket style, you'll see just how much the right jacket can show off your uniqueness. The right jacket will help you look your best as you ride.
