Movie Site Downloads

By Gary Spartlet

With today's home entertainment systems, many of us get movie rentals regularly. Typically we all wait to rent the box office hits, in place of watching films at the movie theaters. Here is a short list of some of the most popular DVD rentals in October 2008.

An innovative method for getting films is movie downloads. You can go to websites on the internet where you can purchase downloads of 1,000's of movies. This a fantastic solution for those looking to increase your movie selections.

INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL: The Indiana Jones movies are back, after a 19 year hiatus. This the fourth movie about the adventures of Indiana Jones. In this episode Indiana is pitted against post war Soviets. The Soviets are looking for some South American relics, and the secrets they carry.

THE LAZARUS PROJECT: Ex con Ben Garvey is a new man now. With a loving family, and steady work, he has found happiness. Then, he is let go from work, and reverts to his old life of crime. He must put it all on the line, and make sure that gang leader drake is able to safely get a huge illegal drug delivery into the country.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This movie tells the story of Dr. Bruce Banner (Edward Norton), who has been changed into a creature called the green Hulk. This feature film is a story about the comic legend, the Hulk. Key cast members are Edward Norton, Tim Roth and Liz Tyler. Louis Leterrier directed this movie. The film genre is sci-fi/action.

DECEPTION: Jonathan McQuarry, a bored and lonely corporate auditor, has a chance encounter with charismatic corporate lawyer Wyatt Bose. This an event that changes his life forever. He learns about "The List", which provides access to a secret world of sexual ecstasy. Unfortunately, he also gets caught up in a world of corruption, treason and death.

JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH: On a quest to find his brother, science professor Trevor Anderson sets out on a journey that puts him on a journey to the center of earth. Cast includes Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutchinson, Anita Briem, and Seth Myers.

THE HAPPENING: Science teacher Elliot Moore, with his wife and many other frightened people are leaving Philadelphia by train. The northeastern U.S. has been thrown into chaos. Citizens are being affected by some unknown malady, and are taking their own lives. Will mankind overcome this problem, or are we witnessing the final acts of the human race?

IRON MAN: Weapons developer, business mogul, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is kidnapped by Afghan rebels. They command him to build missiles for the insurgent group. He sustained injuries when he was abducted, and has shrapnel stuck in his chest.
