Colorado Activities

The white fluffy stuff that comes just once a year during winter is something that you enjoy all the time in the State of Colorado. Located in the rocky mountain areas, only half of this state is flat. The rest are mountainous snow capped regions. This make Colorado the perfect place for all those winter sports that you love doing be it snowboarding or skiing.

Depending on what area, Colorado can have up to a hundred plus inches of snowfall; there are also about three hundred days of sunshine in this state. This plus its terrain makes Colorado the best skiable state in the entire United States. You will find that there are more or less twenty six ski areas that you can choose from. But this does not mean that you have to limit yourself to skiing.

Having the right terrain and snow does not mean all you have to do is ski. There are other things that you can to with all that snow. Snowboarding is a popular activity among younger ones, though many adults enjoy this sport as well. For those people who like dogs, there is something you can too: dog sledding. These are only some of the activities enjoyed; there can be more sports to do in the snow.

Other than the many snow sports you surely can't miss the festivals and shows that happen in Colorado. These can range from carnivals that will help you have a blast partying down to craft shows and fairs. Craft shows and fairs can be the perfect place for you to find that one of a kind keepsake that will remind you of your trip. You can also find things to bring back for family and friends here.

Craft shows and fairs in Colorado are open t both residents and non residents as well. If you have a lot of talent and creativity then you blend right in with what you have to offer.
