The reasoning behind a bathroom vanity

By Sebastian Zidan

When redecorating your house you probably already have a clue on how much you are looking at spending on supplies to make your guests happy. This is a reason that we all wonder about such cost and what we can eliminate without anyone noticing. There are a few people that feel that the bathroom needs the minimal such as a sink, toilet, and a tub. Sure you can cut out the bathroom vanity and put a pedestal sink in instead. When designing your restroom you need to cover everyone's needs including your own.

Because these permanent fixtures can not be moved very easily, it is nearly impossible to rearrange them. The most valuable item that you have total control over is the vanity. This item needs to be chosen on a personal level by you. You also need to choose a mirror that represents your home along with the warmth you want your guests to feel as they enter your newly redesigned bathroom.

If you knew your guests were practically guaranteed to notice one thing in your house, wouldn't you want to make sure that one thing is perfect? Well, in the case of a bathroom vanity, it is without fail the one thing everyone will notice since people tend to look in the mirror after using the restroom to check their appearance out of habit.

Thus, the one thing that can convey your complete sense of decoration style might ironically be the bathroom vanity that is placed in the bathroom. It might seem hard to believe, but it is the simple truth meaning that you need to pay special attention to the type of mirror you choose while you are decorating your bathroom. Lucky for you, once you delve into your options you will find that there are many different types of vanity mirrors that you can purchase to complete your bathroom dcor.

There are many things you need to consider when you choose the bathroom vanity that best fits your room, the most paramount starting with size. In general, your bathroom vanity is going to be located over top of the sink. Therefore, you need to consider the size of your sink when you are choosing what size mirror you want and how much you want your mirror to cover the wall.

Many people tend to match their bathroom vanity to the size of the sink which is ok most of the time with larger sinks. However, if you have a small sink, a small mirror hanging over the sink may only exemplify how empty your bathroom looks. Thus, you might consider purchasing a larger mirror to help feel up the empty white space in your bathroom and give it a more thoughtful appearance.

Overhead lighting above the vanity mirror also is going to be appreciated by your guests, while also bringing out the trimming of the bathroom vanity you purchase and put in place. After you spend so much time finding the perfect mirror there is no reason why you should not get to show off your efforts a little to your guests by placing it in the spotlight.
