4 Tips for a Memorable Valentine's Day

By Stylelife Coaches

When you first start dating someone close to February 14th, it can be a bit scary. Read ahead and we'll make sure you surpass her expectations on this special day.

CHOOSE A GIFT

One of the first major Valentine's Day pitfalls to avoid is choosing an inappropriate gift. If this is one of the very first dates, you don't have to give her a gift. If you invite her out, you should pay for dinner and buy a nice bottle of wine if your budget allows it.

Flowers make a woman feel special. Call ahead and have it delivered to her address before the date. It will keep you in her mind the rest of the day plus carrying them to the door is a bit try hard. Don't be a sap with a dozen roses. A few thoughtful flowers will have you the talk of her workplace all day.

Things change when you're selecting a Valentine's Day gift if you're involved in a periodic romance situation (friends with benefits or any other relationship where sex is the focus and neither of you want or expect more). Here you can have some fun, be adventurous, and buy a gift that reflects the foundation of the relationship. This is the time to buy the gift that is risque and represents hot sex in a sexy but never insulting or degrading way. The fun, not-quite-Victoria's-Secret lingerie, the velvet handcuffs, fishnets and garter belts, videos, and sex toys.

THE DATE

With the proper gift obtained, there is still much to be done for setting up the perfect date, and you should start early. Spend the day flirting with her in text messages. Tease her, entice her, keep her excited about the special evening she will have with you. Let her know how much you are looking forward to the night, and that it is not just another date.

This IS, after all, Valentine's Day, and you are going to make it special. Anyone can give a bunch of flowers, and a box of candy, but only someone with imagination can do it with finesse. Remember that on the date itself, all of your basic Stylelife skills still apply. Keep your attitude fun and playful. It's important to be interested, and be interesting. Fascinate her, engage her, and take her on an exciting emotional ride. In the end, these are what matter most, not the location or activity.

DESSERT

Dessert waiting at your apartment is key. Sexually charge her with chocolates. Use strawberries to dip them and some if chocolate ends up on you, so be it...

TURN UP THE ROMANCE

Tickle all her senses to for the best night ever:

* Select fresh flowers and place them throughout your apartment

* Get some champagne. Excite her taste and touch as the champagne tingles her nose while it enters her mouth.

* Give her a relaxing massage with natural oils.

It's true that a new romance is a difficult Valentine's Day to plan for because you do not want to rush a situation that needs a little bit of time to evolve. Simply stay attentive to her comfort levels and her level of attraction. Remember, ultimately there are no rules. It's about you and her creating a memorable experience. Now go have fun, and make it the best Valentine's Day for both of you!
