Tips to get your opponents Guessing Blindly

By Gwrtheyrn Kapila

This is what will take place the very moment that you take a seat; your opponents will be sizing you up. Yes, this is the ultimate poker reality. They will be analyzing your moves, prey and slice up your bets, and most of all they will look for your tells. Ouch! If you dream a non-stop success playing poker, you are should be an expert at avoiding giving off signals, meaning you should keep your opponents guessing blindly.

Ever since I've started my playing career in poker, a decade ago, I have always tried to develop and refine my strategies. So let me share to you ways which will guide you to boost your winnings. But before I start, keep in mind that if you use these fittingly, your opponents will find you just about unreadable.

Remember that you must hide your every move and cover up your activities. You should learn how to force your opponents to fold, even after they know they have the best hand in the house. Try to formulate ideas that would make your opponents out think themselves by being random.

Your bets should vary. It still puzzles me to this day the number of players whose betting patterns are dull. It's predictable and yet they continue to use it over and over again. I am over emphasizing this to you because this is a big disadvantage.

Imagine your self stuck with a player, who uses identical betting patterns. Let us suppose that he is dealt a large pocket pair. As expected, like what he always does, He leads out with a huge bet. Now you have a sure read on him. Keep in mind that if you want to be unpredictable, your bets should vary and raise patters as much.

This sort of read can only stop you from losing a stack of your chips. It also keeps you away from getting any callers on your good hands and many callers on your bad ones as well.

This may perhaps surprise you, but then again I am here to assist you with your poker strategies. The correct indication of an outstanding player is his ability to win countless small pots with an aggressive play. Never forget to keep players out of hands. If you want to be rest assured that your opponents will see less of your cards, what you could do is force them out of a small pot. This is the key is to playing aggressive and unpredictable at the same time.

Successful players will always be the ones who changes gears from aggressive to tight all through their game. So let this be a lesson to you, it is essential that you mix up your betting patterns for a particular hand. Then try switching your game plan between loose and tight. This is something you'd probably like to consider, always change your style! Also take note that, it is hard for your opponents to get a good read on you when you play in the dark. A brilliant way to confuse your opponents is using a dark play. This will certainly start your opponents to have another look at their moves.

A rule of thumb, never show your cards! There are a lot of players who like to expose their cards. A typical scenario would be after pulling off a good bluff. This is usually a display case of superiority. By showing your cards, your opponents will certainly be aware of how you act when you bluff. I'm sure you don't want this happening at all.

Keep in mind that, it doesn't matter how hard you try to stop yourself getting playing patterns; later on you will inevitably form a playing pattern. What I have just discussed will help you hide those habits (playing pattern) and keeps all your opponents guessing blindly.
