Side Effects

By Becky Jones

Side effects from prescription drugs vary. They can range from flu like symptoms to organ failure. A portion of side effects from prescription drugs go un noticed.

It is up to the person taking them, or the mother or father of a child taking them to keep a close eye on the possible side effects of these drugs.

Speak in depth to your doctor about side effects from any drug you are looking to start taking.

And also let the physician know what drugs you have been receiving before seeking his advice on the new drug you're waiting to take. The doctor will know if there are some risks of combining the two medicines.

Keep your physician up to date about your condition. Let he or she know if the drugs are effective for you, or if you're feeling worse then before you started receiving the medicine.

Do not just take a med and assume you're alright. Always keep a close watch on the person taking the drug.

Keep a record book of dates of changes you have noted about your self. Show them to your doc, he or she can search over your records and find out if the prescription drug you're taking is the proper one for you.

Remember these drugs are for the most part very safe, but you should also never ever trust them to cure you of your ailment. There are plenty of very serious side effects from these drugs that can at worst kill you.

Use your good judgment and always pay attention to all of the risks.
