By Andrew Greene

There is a lot you have to think about whether you have new adult or puppy dog. You will both have to get used to new and different schedules. This getting to know each other can leave you exhausted at the end of the day.

In the evening, you will go to bed, but where is your new dog going to sleep? A lot of people think that their dogs can sleep anywhere, but while this is true, remeber it is true for humans too!

Just like you your dog needs somewhere comfortable and where it is well supported. You are going to have purchase a good bed for it, this will ensure your new dog gets high quality sleep to keep it fit and healthy.

A lot of dogs and puppies can chew on their beds. So make sure you purchase them a chew proof bed. The filling inside beds can be very harmful to them if they swallow it.

To ensure that your dog has a comfortable night. Look for a well designed bed with a quality filling. Well made beds are usually easy to spot, and will make sure your new friend has a good nights sleep.

If you live in a cold part of the country you will probably need a different bed than if you live in a warm area. If your area is much colder in winter than in summer you may need two different beds or extra dog bedding.

Every dog is different and no bed is right for all dogs. Take into account size, weight and how thick a coat the dog has.

Don't rush your decision, ideally buy the bed before you bring the dog home. Remember that a comfy, warm place to sleep is vital for your dog's long term health.
